Hi, I’m Jacorí Sadie — founder of Nourish Mii, LLC, a home-based business rooted in necessity, healing, and cultural pride. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse with 15 years of experience and a lifelong student of medicinal herbs, my path to creating Nourish Mii began with a deeply personal struggle.

I was diagnosed with dyshidrotic eczema, a rare and painful skin condition that affected my hands and feet. Conventional “sensitive skin” products only left me feeling more frustrated — they were expensive, ineffective, and lacked the joy and comfort I longed for in my self-care routine. And truthfully, before this journey, I didn’t have much of a grooming ritual at all. I saw it as a chore — something to get done quickly, without thought or care. It wasn’t until after a medical injury in my late 30s that I began exploring natural, therapeutic ways to care for my skin and hair. Creating time and space for intentional grooming became part of my healing process — learning to slow down, take pride in pampering myself daily, and give that tender care to my body that I had never prioritized before.

Determined to find a better way, I began handcrafting my own body butters and deodorants using simple, earth-based ingredients — free from chemical additives and artificial fragrances. What started as a form of healing quickly evolved into a mission: to nourish skin without compromise and reconnect with the natural elements that support our wellness. Nourish Mii reminds me to do just that — to nourish myself mindfully.

In 2024, I traveled to Ghana and began sourcing premium raw ingredients directly from West African farmers and women-owned businesses. Building these relationships has been vital — not only for ensuring quality but for contributing to the economies and communities that inspire our formulas.

At Nourish Mii, every product is made with intention here in Oakland, California. I create for people like me: those with sensitive skin, members of the African diaspora, and anyone ready to return to natural grooming rituals rooted in care, tradition, and transparency.
